Toshihiro Abe

Since the end of apartheid, South African society has avoided conflict resolution where “the victor strengthens political legitimacy by selective justice.” Instead, it has engaged in national reconciliation and redistribution of social  resources. I wish to consider numerous recent societal changes related to these choices from the perspective of public safety and immigration. Research is to be conducted in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.
