Research Interests | I have been involved in development practices and research in Zambia and Tanzania since the mid-1980s. I have paid my attention to endogenous development and nature of capacity building, by continuously monitoring the dynamics and qualitative process of development practices, which consist of conflict, agreement, cooperation, and collaboration among various actors. In addition, I focus on the roles of farmers' groups and their relations to indigenous associations, change of norms and systems of groups in connection with resource use and management, and their resolution mechanism and process in the case of disagreement and internal conflicts. |
