Research Interests | African nations have experienced rapid socio-economic changes at a massive scale since the 1980s. These changes were led by national development projects based on floating international development philosophies. While such situation has brought new opportunities, it has also become the causes for various conflicts, which now require settlement. Using Tanzanian rural societies as examples, I will conduct a research on the types of coexistence and cooperation that have been achieved or maintained by resolving various micro-level conflicts and will also take note of macro-level changes. |
